We use your staples to attach tags to green lumber from the sawmill. After drying we have been using a two sided sticky tape to apply our tags. The staples just are not working for Birch, Beech, Hard Maple, White Oak, etc. — we would love to use your staples in the kiln dried – any advice

We’re glad to hear Raptor Staples are working with your green lumber, and we hope to help with the kiln dried lumber as well. The use of our pneumatic stapler would probably solve the issue of penetrating the kiln dried wood, but that may not be feasible in the sawmill. Assuming the compression tacker is being used, have you tried to adjust the depth control? Feel free to contact us at 800-460-6933 or info@raptornails.com to talk about specifics.
