I want to use plastic staples in our kilns to attach shade dry to hardwood. Can we leave them in the wood without damaging our planer HSS knives?
Generally, RAPTORĀ® fasteners can be cut, shaped and sanded with the wood without damaging bits, blades or abrasives. However, the glass fiber in our standard product can damage some HSS planer knives. If you use carbide planer knives then our standard product is fine, but for HSS knives, it is best to use our LF (low fill) or NF (no fill) products.

We were applying the tag to the face of green lumber with who the vendor was. One customer started experiencing damage to their knives. We moved the tag to the edge of the board
